WAITING FOR BACON: A tantalising and tragic insight into the mind of Francis Bacon through the lens of the relationship with his east end-gangster lover George.

THE BED: A snapshot in time: It's 1998 - Tracey Emin and Kate Moss inspire and infuriate each other with hilarious and brilliant consequences.

Venue: The Garrison Ballroom at The Garrison Tavern, former The Saracens Head Hotel. - 3 High St, Chelmsford CM1 1BE

N.B - One of the oldest buildings in Chelmsford, this venue has limited accessibility with stairs and no lift.
There is an independent bar upstairs serving the venue.

A delicious meal can be enjoyed in the pub downstairs with a wonderful selection from the Smokehouse menu. You can order in advance so you have your food ready for the time you booked.

Liam Reilly – Director
Liam is a native Londoner whose passion for Theatre, Film and Television has seen him work extensively across these industries for the last twenty years. Trained originally as an actor at the Drama Centre London, Liam now splits his (me between writing, directing and acting. His most recent writing project was produced by Black Dog Films, which screened at the LSSF, MANIFF, The Kerry film festival and several others. He has directed theatre, including sell-out runs on the London fringe, and showcases at the Gate and Bush Theatres.

Ceri Ashe – Tracey Emin
Ceri Ashe is an actor, writer and founder of Popty Ping Productions theatre company. Theatre credits include: Katie in ‘Bipolar Me', Etcetera Theatre. Stephano in 'The Tempest', Brockley Jack Theatre. Balthasar & Peter in 'Romeo and Juliet', Waterloo East Theatre. Rosa in 'Adventures in the Skin Trade', Theatre Iolo - Welsh tour. Phaedra in 'Phaedra’s love', 20th Century Theatre. Stella in 'A girl in a Car with a man', Contact Theatre. Television credits include: ‘Gwaith Cartref’ (Welsh language TV show) for S4C. Claire in 'Pull UP' (pilot) and Niamh in Class (pilot) both with Ridley Scott Associates.

Anne Vanderelst – Kate Moss
Anne was born and raised in Belgium. After finishing her bachelor Musical Theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, she moved to England and obtained her master Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting. Besides performing in musicals, recently playing Little Red Ridinghood in a bilingual production of “Into the Woods”, Anne has also ventured out to television; most notably playing Manon in an episode of the new AppleTV series “Masters of the air”. “The Bed” was Anne’s first professional acting job and she is therefore delighted to reprise her role as Katie.

Christopher Freestone – Francis Bacon
Arriving to acting late, Chris started studying his craft, and continues to do so, with Actor in Session. Previous credits have included showcases at The Bush Theatre and some fringe productions. This will be Chris' third time as Bacon an experience he claims is second to none!

Matthew Pangratiou - George Dyer.
Matthew is an Actor and writer born and raised in north London. Matthew did a foundation degree at Richmond Drama School and then went on to study at Identity school of Acting & Actor in session. Theatre credits include: Mickey in ‘Blood Brothers’ Queen Charlotte hall performed in front of the Duke of Edinburgh. Richard ‘Comedy Game Show’ The pump House theatre & arts centre. Don Juan in ‘Don Juan’ Theatre Peckham. Matthew has most recently been working for ‘AudioPad’ doing character voiceovers for a video game. Other Credits include: Matthew Pangratiou x Ben Vibrant ‘The path’ DNBB Records.
